Winger Young joins Bristol City academy

Bristol City have signed winger Ranel Young to their under-21 academy on a deal until the summer of 2027.

The 19-year-old joins from Serbian side Usce but began his career in Liverpool's academy and featured 20 times for the Reds' Premier League 2 team last season, scoring four goals with a further two assists.

"Ranel is a versatile player with a lot of talent, and we are excited for him to join our under-21s set up," technical director Brian Tinnion said.

"He adds quality and has a host of potential in the game."
