The Indianapolis Colts (8-9) missed the AFC playoffs for the fifth consecutive season after such a promising start, winning seven of their first eight games. In the back half of the season, the schedule toughened, quarterback Daniel Jones suffered two injuries and the defense struggled at times.
The Colts are in a small bind heading into the draft. They traded their first-round picks in 2026 and '27 (as well as wide receiver Adonai Mitchell) to the New York Jets for cornerback Sauce Gardner, whose '25 season was interrupted by injury. Chris Ballard remains as general manager.
