The New England Patriots added some reinforcements prior to their wild-card matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
New England announced it elevated defensive lineman Leonard Taylor III and wide receiver Jeremiah Webb from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday.

Taylor, 23, was elevated for three games during the regular season and provided key depth along the interior during the absences of Milton Williams and Khyiris Tonga. The Patriots signed him to the practice squad on Oct. 16, 2025.
Webb, 24, has stuck around after originally entering the league as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft, spending the entire season on the practice squad and could finally get an opportunity to debut on Sunday.
The Patriots could rely on the rookie if Kayshon Boutte can’t play due to his hamstring injury that kept him limited during practice on Thursday and Friday, with there needing to be a backup plan behind Stefon Diggs, DeMario Douglas, Kyle Williams and Efton Chism III.
