LAWRENCE — There was good news for Kansas basketball Monday, as no Jayhawks players were listed in the initial Big 12 Conference player availability report for Tuesday’s home game against TCU.
KU coach Bill Self had discussed both freshman guard Darryn Peterson’s and redshirt sophomore guard Elmarko Jackson’s injury statuses postgame Saturday, after a loss on the road against UCF. But Monday, prior to the release of the availability report, Self sounded optimistic about Peterson and Jackson playing in the upcoming Big 12 matchup when he spoke with reporters. This availability report reflects that.
