The Baltimore Ravens are interested in one of the league’s brightest defensive minds, as the team has requested an interview with former Pittsburgh Steelers and current Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores for their vacant head coaching position.
In a week filled with head coaching shakeups, the Ravens may be interested in bringing Flores back to the AFC North, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, as Baltimore requested an interview on Thursday.
An assistant and positional coach from 2008 to 2018 with the New England Patriots, Flores finally got his shot as a head coach with the Miami Dolphins in 2019.

He ultimately joined the Steelers as a senior defensive assistant/linebackers coach in 2022 before becoming the Vikings’ defensive coordinator in 2023.
Flores was the mastermind behind some great defenses, which could make the possibility of joining the Ravens harder to stomach for some Steelers fans.
