NBA Twitter reacts to VJ Edgecombe lifting Sixers over Grizzlies in OT

The Philadelphia 76ers walked out of FedEx Forum on Tuesday with a much-needed 139-136 overtime win over the Memphis Grizzlies. The win snapped a 3-game losing skid and it was also their first win of the season when the Big 3 plays together as Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid, and Paul George all delivered big moments.

While Maxey and Embiid put up 34 points each and George knocked down three triples, it was rookie guard VJ Edgecombe who stole the headlines.

Edgecombe scored 25 points on the night, 16 coming in the fourth quarter and overtime, and he drilled the game-winning triple with 1.7 seconds left in overtime. It was yet another impressive performance for the No. 3 overall pick in the guts of the game down the stretch.
