Will Anderson Jr. and Derek Stingley Jr. have more in common than just playing for the Houston Texans.

Both were drafted third overall from an SEC school. Both play defense and have been the anchors of a No. 1 defense this season at NRG Stadium. Both have made the Pro Bowl on multiple instances.

And now both can call themselves All-Pros.

Anderson and Stingley were named to the first-team All-Pro by the Associated Press on Saturday morning, the publication announced. This marked the first time that Anderson has been named to the All-Pro team while also becoming the third player in franchise history to be a first-team All-Pro, joining J.J. Watt and Stingley.

This marked the second time Stingley was named to the first-team roster after totaling four interceptions and 15 pass breakups. Anderson, who could become one of the highest-paid defensive ends in the league, totaled 12 sacks, 20 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and one defensive touchdown.

Defensive end Danielle Hunter was named to the second-team defense for the second time in his NFL career. Arguably the more intimidating pass-rusher, Hunter finished with 15 sacks, the third-most in the leage behind made the second team for the second time in his 10-year career. He was also an All-Pro in 2018 for the Minnesota Vikings.

While the trio made the list, others just missed the cut. Defensive back Jalen Pitre had the third-most votes among nickel defenders behind Philadelphia's Cooper DeJean and Los Angeles' Derwin James. Linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair finished seventh in votes among linebackers while cornerback Kamari Lassiter finished eighth.

Pro Bowl wide receiver finished seventh, one spot off the second-team at wide receiver. Calen Bullock finished sixth, meaning he was two spots behind the second-team units.

The Texans take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild-card round on Monday at 7 p.m. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN.
