FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The Miami Dolphins are expected to be without leading rusher De'Von Achane and receiver Jaylen Waddle for today's season finale against the host New England Patriots, ESPN is reporting.
Achane has a shoulder injury and did not practice this past week.

Besides being without their top threats on the ground and in the air, the Dolphins will have a difficult time judging the performance of rookie quarterback Quinn Ewers, who will be making his third NFL start but short on weapons at the skill positions.
Achane, who has 1,350 rushing yards, leads the Dolphins with 67 receptions. Waddle is right behind him with 64 for 910 yards, so he'll be denied a 1,000-yard season.
That leaves the running attack in the hands of Jaylen Wright (265 yards) and Ollie Gordon (190). The Dolphins also elevated veteran Jeff Wilson off the practice squad.

The top remaining receiving threats are Malik Washington (43 receptions, 311 yards) and tight end Greg Dulcich (23 for 304).
