Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence gets second FedEx Player of Week nomination

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was nominated for the second time in the past month for the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Player of the Week.

Lawrence completed 22 of 30 passes (73.3 percent) for 255 yards and three touchdowns with a 131.9 passer rating in the Jaguars' 41-7 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Jan. 4 at EverBank Stadium. The Jaguars (13-4) clinched the AFC South title and will play host to Buffalo (12-5) on Jan. 11 at 1 p.m. in the first round of the NFL playoffs.

In the process, he cracked the 4,000-yard passing barrier for the third time in his career, set the franchise record for most total touchdowns with 39 and passed Blake Bortles for second place in career passing yardage, now has 17,822, with only Mark Brunell ahead of him.

If Lawrence wins, FedEx will donated $2,000 donation to Feeding Northeast Florida.

  • L.A. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, 25 of 40 (62.5 percent) for 259 yards and four touchdowns, with a 114.5 rating.

  • Buffalo quarterback Mitch Trubisky, 22 of 29 (75.9 percent) for 259 yards and four touchdowns, with a 142.1 rating.

  • Detroit running back Jahmyr Gibbs, 80 yards rushing 33 receiving a receiving touchdown.

  • New England running back Rhamondre Stevenson, 131 yards rushing, 22 and three TDs, two on the ground and one on a pass reception.

  • New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy, 103 yards rushing, 56 receiving and a receiving TD.
