However, Amazon Prime's NFL cupboards will be barren in Week 18. The streaming giant has just one game left to broadcast in the 2025 NFL season, and it won't air until the playoffs begin.

No, there is not a "Thursday Night Football" game in Week 18. The first NFL game of the season's final week will be Saturday, Jan. 3 at 4:30 p.m. ET, when the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers square off in a game that could determine the winner of the NFC South.

Amazon wrapped up its "Thursday Night Football" slate for the 2025 NFL season on Christmas, when the Denver Broncos earned a 20-13 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The NFL's Thursday slate will now be on hiatus until the 2026 season, as all of the league's playoff games will be played on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

While "Thursday Night Football" is over for the season, its crew still has one game remaining on its slate. Al Michaels, Kirk Herbstreit and Kaylee Hartung will be on the call for one of the NFL's wild-card weekend games, which will be broadcast nationally on Prime Video.

The NFL broadcast a total of 21 games on Thursdays throughout the 2025 NFL season. A total of 15 of those contests were broadcast on Amazon while the other five aired on CBS, Fox, NBC and Netflix as part of the NFL's Week 1 and holiday schedules.
