As expected, there's a big UConn flair of staffers who followed Mora to CSU, but also some additions from other programs. No members of Jay Norvell's offensive staff are retained.

Here's a look at Mora's offensive staff.

Pryce Tracy: Offensive coordinator

Tracy comes with Mora from UConn, where he served as the pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach in 2025 and helped UConn QB Joe Fagnano star. Fagnano threw for 3,448 yards with 28 touchdown passes and just one interception.

Prior to UConn, Tracy worked on Kirby Smart's staff at Georgia (2022-24) as an assistant tight ends coach. He was working on the staff of Georgia offensive coordinator and former CSU coach Mike Bobo.

Here are Tracy's coaching stops prior to Georgia:

  • Idaho (2019-21) as running backs coach and recruiting coordinator

  • Arkansas Tech (2018) as quarterbacks coach and recruiting coordinator

  • Notre Dame (2013-17) as offensive analyst for quarterbacks and receivers and a special teams analyst

  • Alabama (2011-12) as a recruiting specialist

Tracy will be CSU's offensive play-caller.

Christian Pace: Run game coordinator, offensive line coach

Pace spent the last four seasons at UConn, coaching the offensive line in 2025 after spending the previous two working with tight ends. UConn allowed just 1.25 sacks per game and helped the team to have a 3,000-yard passer, 1,000-yard rusher and 1,000-yard receiver.

Pace played offensive line at Michigan (2010-11), where he then began his coaching career as a student assistant (2011-14). He has since coached at Florida (2015-16) and Lafayette College (2017-21) before UConn.

Pace is expected to bring outside zone run scheme (frequently used in the NFL) to CSU.

Matt Mitchell: Passing game coordinator, quarterbacks coach

Mitchell comes to CSU from BYU, where he was the assistant QB coach last season and is credited with helping develop true freshman Bear Bachmeier.

Mitchell played receiver at Wheaton College (2010-14). He was at BYU 2022-25 as assistant QB coach and a QB analyst. He's also worked at Baylor (2021), Snow College (2019), Western Kentucky (2017-18) and Notre Dame (2015-16).

Kashif Moore: Pass game specialist, wide receivers coach

Moore was a UConn receiver (2008-11), who spent brief time as a player with several NFL teams after his college career.

He was the receivers coach at his alma mater from 2023-25 before following Mora to CSU. Moore helped the development of receiver Skyler Bell, who was a 2025 Biletnikoff Award finalist after catching 101 passes for 1,278 yards and 13 touchdowns.

He's also coached at Albany (2022), Cornell (2021) and Wesleyan (2020).

Pat Welsh: Tight ends coach

Welsh comes to CSU from Miami (Ohio), where he served as offensive coordinator and also coached running backs and tight ends. He was part of the Miami staff to beat CSU in the 2024 Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl.

Welsh was at Miami from 2014-25. He has also coached at Notre Dame (2011-13), Whittenberg College (2012) and Grand Valley State (2011).
