The era of transferring out of the program that recruited you and into its biggest rival is over. It's still jarring when it happens, though.
Former Texas wide receiver Parker Livingstone entered the transfer portal when it officially opened on Friday and one his first visits will be the Longhorns' rival in the Red River Shootout, Oklahoma. That is according to On3's Parker Thune.

Livingstone had an excellent freshman year with Texas, hauling in 29 passes for 518 yards and two touchdowns. His yards-per-catch average topped the team and he was second in receiving touchdowns, just one behind Ryan Wingo. Wingo finished as a second-team All-Southeastern Conference pick with the Sooners' Isaiah Sategna.
Sategna's status for the 2026 season is unclear. He has eligibility remaining, but is a potential NFL Draft pick were he to declare early. Sategna led OU in every major receiving category with 67 receptions for 965 yards and eight touchdowns.
Livingstone was a three-star recruit out of Lovejoy High School in Lucas, Texas, in the Class of 2024, ranking as the 97th best player in the state. But a season of redshirting did he him well as he now ranks as a four-star transfer product and the 14th best wideout in the portal, according to 247Sports.
