Power rankings (week of Dec. 22-27)
1. De Pere (4-0)
The Redbirds were idle as they prepared to play Milwaukee Academy of Science and Neenah at the Rick Majerus/WBY Shootout to start this week.

2. Seymour (6-0)
The Thunder remained undefeated with a 72-56 win at Ashwaubenon. It is 2-0 against Fox River Classic Conference teams after starting the campaign with a win over Green Bay Notre Dame.

Bay Port and forward JT Meyer (33) will be back in action this week against Pulaski.
3. Bay Port (6-1)
The Pirates haven’t played since their loss to De Pere on Dec. 19 and have one game this week when they host Pulaski on Jan. 2.

4. West De Pere (5-1)
The Phantoms lost by five points at Sheboygan North but followed with a win over Germantown at the Chekouras Classic.
West De Pere is tied with four other teams for second place in the FRCC at 2-1, a game behind De Pere. The Phantoms play the Redbirds on Jan. 3.

5. Kewaunee (6-0)
Outscored Wrightstown by 15 points in the second half to run away with an 84-61 win. The Storm is off to its best start in more than two decades, surpassing the 2006-07 and 2011-12 teams that started 5-0.

6. Crivitz (5-2)
The Wolverines were off last week. They are beating teams by an average of 17.7 points.
Last week’s ranking: 7.
7. Green Bay Notre Dame (2-3)
Home sweet home.
The Tritons finally play in their gym for the first time this season when they host Ashwaubenon on Jan. 2, followed the next day with a nonconference home game against Madison Edgewood.

8. Denmark (6-3)
The Vikings lost to New London 74-69 and have dropped two of their last three games entering the week after starting the season with five wins in the first six games.
Last week’s ranking: 6.
9. Pulaski (5-2)
The Red Raiders beat Menasha 91-75 in their only game last week. They have won all five of their contests this season by double figures.
Last week’s ranking: 9.
10. Algoma (6-1)
Two more wins for the Wolves, including a 64-63 overtime victory at Luxemburg-Casco.

Players of the week
Diesel Bosdeck, Kewaunee
An impressive performance against Wrightstown for the sophomore guard, who scored a game-high 25 points while shooting 10-for-16 overall and 5-for-6 from 3-point range. He added 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals.

Bosdeck leads the Storm in scoring with 17.5 points per game. He is one of three players, along with seniors Connor Kilgore and Avery Jerabek, averaging double figures for Kewaunee.
Erik Bouchard, West De Pere
The senior guard scored a career-high 23 points against Sheboygan North, shooting 10-for-13 overall and 3-for-4 from 3 in 32 minutes.
Will Dornbush, Green Bay Preble
The junior guard had 15 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in a loss to D.C. Everest, shooting 5-for-8.
Parker Lischka, Algoma
The senior star became the program’s all-time leading scorer in an overtime win against Luxemburg-Casco. He finished with 22 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.

Lischka followed with 21 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals against Sheboygan Falls.
Kyler Marks, Seymour
Scored a game-high 29 points and added 5 rebounds and 4 assists in a win over Ashwaubenon. The senior forward-center shot 9-for-15 overall and 10-for-10 from the line.
Collin Radtke, Oconto Falls
The sophomore had 26 points in 29 minutes in a win over Green Bay Southwest, shooting 10-for-15 overall and 6-for-10 from 3. He added 6 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals in a victory over Oconto.
Bohdan Schmidt, Pulaski
The junior is one of the best athletes at Pulaski and continues to shine on the hardwood. He had 24 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals against Menasha while shooting 7-for-13 overall.

He entered the week averaging 20.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.4 steals.
Hayden Schultz, Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran
Scored 18 of his 20 points in the first half to help the Blazers build a commanding 21-point lead in a win over Gillett.
