The Carolina Hurricanes (26-14-3) return to action tonight as they take on the Anaheim Ducks (21-19-3) at the Lenovo Center. Game time is 7 P.M.
After a sterling performance against the Dallas Stars on Tuesday, the Canes will look to repeat those results against the Ducks.

They have won two in a row and they are 4-5-1 in their last 10 games.
There was no morning skate for Carolina so we will assume the lines will be similar to the previous game. Noah Philp was injured on Tuesday and will not play tonight. (concussion protocol)
Jaccob Slavin skated without the yellow jersey yesterday so he might draw back in for this one.
These were the lines in practice on Wednesday from Ryan Henkel.
If Slavin draws back in, will Nikishin be the odd man out? It is unlikely he will improve the way they want him to without getting practice time with one of the top five blueliners. The last couple of practices, he has been paired with Mike Reilly. Being paired with Reilly is helping his development?

My guess is that Brind’Amour will go with Fred Andersen in net.
The Ducks have lost seven games in a row and they are 1-7-2 in their last 10.
Here was their lineup for their last game.
The game will be broadcast by the Fanduel Sports Network.
Will the Canes make it three wins in a row?
