Dolphins' 2026 draft picks: Where Miami will be picking this spring

5 days ago 3

The Miami Dolphins are on the hunt for a new general manager to shepherd the team into its post-Tua Tagovailoa future.

Whoever takes the reins of the franchise will inherit a pretty decent stockpile of picks in the 2026 NFL Draft to immediately make their mark. The Dolphins acquired an extra 2026 third-round pick in a trade during the 2025 NFL Draft and then got one more a couple months ago when they traded Jaelan Phillips to the Philadelphia Eagles.

What isn't clear for now is whether or not the Dolphins will receive a compensatory selection when they're awarded in March. Miami benched Nick Westbrook-Ikhine late in the year in an effort to earn a fourth-round pick, but an injury suffered by Minkah Fitzpatrick forced the team to lean on safeties Ashtyn Davis and Ifeatu Melifonwu. The increased snaps for those two defensive backs likely means the Dolphins won't receive an extra pick, according to Over The Cap's projections.

The full seven-round draft order won't be finalized until those compensatory picks are awarded. For now, here are the Dolphins' 2026 draft picks heading into the offseason:

  • 1st round pick (No. 11 overall)

  • 2nd round pick (No. 43 overall)

  • 3rd round pick (No. 75 overall)

  • 3rd round pick (via Eagles) (No. 87 overall)

  • 3rd round pick (via Texans) (No. 91 overall)

  • 4th round pick (TBD)

  • 5th round pick (TBD)

  • 7th round pick (TBD)

The Dolphins' original sixth-round selection is the only 2026 pick they've traded away, which they sent to the New York Giants in exchange for tight end Darren Waller.
