Monday was also the first day where the Lions are allowed to renegotiate or extend the rookie contract of a drafted rookie who was selected in any round of the 2023 NFL draft or any undrafted rookie who signed in 2024.
That group from 2023 includes running back Jahmyr Gibbs, linebacker Jack Campbell, tight end Sam LaPorta and safety Brian Branch.
