Moments after the Oregon Ducks' 56-22 loss to the Indiana Hoosiers amid a disastrous three-turnover performance from quarterback Dante Moore, it appears that the potential 2026 draft prospect is still uncertain on his future.
"I don't know my decision yet," he revealed after being asked whether he'll declare for the 2026 NFL draft or return to Eugene for one more season.

It's the answer that Moore has given ever since his name began to appear in 2026 mock drafts and big boards.
Notably, he's the No. 1 prospect on esteemed ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr.'s Big Board. With the draft order set, he's widely projected to be selected by the Las Vegas Raiders or New York Jets, the teams that own the No. 1 and No. 2 picks, respectively.
But if there was ever a performance that changed Moore's perspective on if he's ready to go pro or not, this may have been it.
On the surface, Moore wasn't bad. By game's end, he'd completed 24 of 39 passes for 285 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

But there was also a badly thrown pass on the first play of the game that resulted in a Hoosiers pick-six. There was a mishap in the backfield in which Moore's throwing arm bumped into running back Dierre Hill Jr., causing a fumble and an Indiana recovery deep inside Duck territory. A strip sack followed in which he held the ball for far too long, allowing the Hoosiers pass rush to reach him and cause another fumble.
In all, Moore committed three first-half turnovers, plummeting the Ducks' chances of a win and showing that he may not be as ready for the NFL as previous opinions have suggested.
Regardless of what he says now, in the wake of one of the most disappointing losses in program history for Oregon and easily the worst game that Moore has pieced together as a Duck, a decision will come soon.
Until then, the Oregon program, plus the Raiders and Jets, will be waiting for his answer.
