After four seasons with the Oregon Ducks, cornerback Jahlil Florence has found a new home via the transfer portal as he committed to Missouri on Monday.
Florence was a four-star recruit in the 2022 class, head coach Dan Lanning's first with the Ducks. He got on the field early, playing in eight games as a freshman and starting nine games as a sophomore before an injury sidelined him for his junior campaign in 2024.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder was surpassed on the depth chart in 2025 by true freshman Brandon Finney Jr. and transfer Jadon Canady among several others, only appearing in two games and announcing his intentions of entering the transfer portal on Nov. 2. He totaled 35 Tackles, 1 Sack, 1 FF, & 2 INT in his time with the Ducks.
Now, Florence will be a Missouri Tiger. Missouri went 8-5 in 2025, finishing as the 11th-ranked pass defense in the country.
Due to him only playing in two games this season, he'll likely be able to use his redshirt, as his 2024 season was classified as a medical redshirt. Florence will presumably have two seasons of eligiubility remaining.
