Alabama and Indiana are set to clash in the College Football Playoff quarterfinals at the Rose Bowl on Thursday at 4 p.m. ET, but the early weather in Pasadena, California, didn't paint a pretty picture of what the conditions might be for game time.
ESPN's College GameDay filmed from the Rose Bowl Thursday morning, giving college football fans an early glimpse of the weather, and the rain was coming down HARD. A few clips posted to social media, showed just how heavy it was raining, with even Pat McAfee seemingly caught off guard by how much the sky had opened up.
There is some good news in the forecast, though, as the showers are predicted to let up later in the day. According to Weather.com, there's just a 21 percent chance of precipitation at kickoff in Pasadena. Fans won't get their typical view of a beautiful Rose Bowl game, as the forecast is for cloudy skies the entire day, but the heaviest rain should at least be done.
