Weber State defensive end transfer to visit Michigan State

Michigan State football is building out it's roster for the 2026 season, Pat Fitzgerald's first in East Lansing. The coaching staff has been diligent in setting up visits with transfer portal targets. The latest visitor comes on the defensive line.

Keahnist Thompson will be visiting on Monday, Jan. 5. The Weber State transfer is a 6-foot-3, 255 pound defensive end.

Originally from Lakeland (FL), Thompson started his collegiate career at UCF, then transferring to Weber State. In nine games in 2025, he secured 27 total tackles, seven tackles for loss, four sacks and five pass breakups. He will have one year of eligibility remaining in 2026.
