Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Darnell Washington's weight is once again the subject of conversation, as the huge pass catcher revealed the heaviest he’s ever weighed.
Making an appearance on the Why Is Draymond Green Talking About Football with Jordan Schultz podcast, Washington shared a startling revelation when discussing the heaviest he's ever been.

“I do feel a lot better lighter,” Washington said. “But not too light. I feel like, ideal weight for me, if I had to say, like 285, 280. Because I’m blocking dudes 280, 290, could be 300. ... For sure, not 330. I'm not going to lie, I’ve been there before. Offseason, I’ve been up to 330. It just feels different. Something I don’t want to play at. It’s gonna be ugly if I play at 330.”
Back in November, the NFL world was shocked when Washington shared with the St. Brown podcast that he weighed 311 pounds. But the additional 20 pounds he claimed to weigh during the offseason would make him heavier than any of the Steelers' starting offensive linemen.
Washington showed off some impressive agility for his massive 300-plus-pound size in Year 3, with the young Steelers tight end looking to bounce back in a major way after breaking his forearm to close out the regular season.
