After suffering a one-point loss on Monday night in Los Angeles, the Golden State Warriors returned home to San Francisco to open an eight-game homestand at Chase Center, starting with a game against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.
The Warriors wasted little time getting going on their homestand, surging to an 11-point lead over the Bucks in the first half. Behind their first-half advantage, the Warriors were able to coast to a 120-113 win over the Bucks on Wednesday. The Warriors led for most of the contest, stretching their lead to as many as 17 points in the third quarter. The Bucks were able to trim Golden State's lead down to single digits down the stretch in the fourth quarter. Yet, it was too late as the Warriors secured a 120-113 win against the Bucks.

De'Anthony Melton led Golden State's second unit with 22 points off the bench on an efficient 8-of-12 shooting from the field with five made 3-pointers in 25 minutes against the Bucks. Melton's 22 points marked a new season-high for the veteran guard and his first 20-point performance of the 2025-26 campaign.
Antetokounmpo notched a game-high 34 points along with 10 boards and five assists in 31 minutes, but it wasn't enough against the Warriors on Wednesday at Chase Center.
The Warriors rank 28th in the NBA in turnovers, averaging 15.7 per game. On Wednesday night, the Warriors only turned the ball over 10 times. In Monday's loss to the Clippers, Golden State only committed seven turnovers. The Warriors' 17 turnovers in two games are their lowest turnover mark in back-to-back games on the 2025-26 season.
