Voting is underway for The Courier Journal's girls athlete of the week. The poll closes at 6 p.m. Thursday, and the winner will be announced Friday.

Freshman had 23 points and four rebounds in a 76-26 victory over Clarksville (Tennessee) Northeast on Dec. 28 in the H&H Holiday Hoopfest at Logan County.

Arianna Rogers, Ballard basketball

Senior scored 34 points in a 77-17 victory over Fairdale on Dec. 29.
