Super 10 boys hoops
1. Goodyear Millennium, 12-1
They've won 10 straight and rolled into the Hoophall West tourney with momentum. They previously captured the championship of a tough tournament in Hawaii, behind the strong play of Adan Diggs and Cameron Holmes.

2. Phoenix Sunnyslope, 12-1
The Vikings reached the championship round of the Platinum Division at The Classic at Damien on Dec. 30 in California, followed by a quick turnaround with a game against Bishop Gorman on Jan. 1 at the Hoophall West Classic.

3. Phoenix St. Mary's, 8-2
They hit a tough bump in the road in the loss to Sunnyslope. Since that 65-43 setback, the Knights, led by Cam Williams, have won four of five against out-of-state competition.
4. Surprise Willow Canyon, 10-1
Their only loss was to Seven Lakes out of Texas in Mesa's Fear the Hop tournament championship game during Thanksgiving week.

5. Mesa, 7-4
The Jackrabbits were 1-2 through Dec. 29 in the Damien Classic. Had a big win over Basha.
6. Gilbert Highland Hawks, 8-2
As of Dec. 29, hadn't lost since Thanksgiving weekend, when they dropped back-to-back games to Seven Lakes and Mesa. They have a big win over Basha.
7. Chandler Basha, 9-4
Behind point guard Mason Magee, the Bears won five of their last six games against tough, out-of-state teams through Dec. 29.

8. Sandra Day O'Connor, 9-5
The Eagles have played one of the toughest schedules in the state that includes a big win over Brophy Prep and losses to Sunnyslope and Highland.

9. Phoenix Brophy Prep Broncos, 7-1
The Broncos were scheduled to face Chandler at 3 p.m. on Jan. 1 in the first round of the Nike Tournament of Champions.
10. Phoenix Central, 14-1
The defending 5A champs lost their first game of the year to Los Alamitos in overtime 78-74 in the third round of the Damien Classic. John Mattingly has never shot the ball so well for the Bobcats.
