As the Philadelphia 76ers move forward with their season, they continue to wait out the injury bug in an effort to get healthy and really take off. They have not had Kelly Oubre Jr. since Nov. 14 and have not had Trendon Watford since Nov. 25. The Sixers have been missing those two key players who provide a ton of adversity.
As far as their injury recovery is concerned, the Sixers did announce that both players have progressed from individualized workouts and are beginning to get integrated into team sessions. Those are big steps for those two and the hope is that they will return sooner rather than later.

Speaking with reporters at practice on Tuesday, Watford gave an update on his recovery:
Right now, I’m day to day. I consider myself day to day. We were able to get some half-court in. The next step is to get some full-court play in and see how I respond from there. I feel good and now it’s just on the team to clear these last two checkpoints.
Watford, a key pickup in free agency for Philadelphia, is averaging 8.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists while shooting 53.4% from the floor and 38.9% from deep. He is an important member of this team's bench unit and will look to give the Sixers a big lift when the time comes.
