Steelers win first AFC North title since 2020 season

It wasn’t easy and it wasn’t pretty, but the Pittsburgh Steelers are your 2025 AFC North champions following their 26–24 victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football.

100-yard games from both running back Derrick Henry and wide receiver Zay Flowers, along with three touchdowns from Lamar Jackson, weren’t enough to keep Pittsburgh out of the playoffs, as Baltimore kicker Tyler Loop missed a 44-yard field goal as time expired to give the Steelers their Week 18 victory.

Another chapter has been written in the Pittsburgh–Baltimore rivalry — filled with the highest of highs, like Calvin Austin’s game-winning touchdown, and the lowest of lows, such as Chris Boswell’s missed extra point that almost cost the Steelers a playoff berth.

The Steelers will now host the Texans in Pittsburgh on Monday, January 12, at 8:00 p.m. EST in the wild-card round of the playoffs.
