Former Alabama running back to reportedly reenter NCAA transfer portal

According to a report from On3's Pete Nakos, former Alabama Crimson Tide running back Justice Haynes plans to reenter the NCAA transfer portal.

Haynes, who originally began his collegiate career at Alabama, recently spent the 2025 season at Michigan, which was his lone with the Wolverines.

This past season, Haynes enjoyed a career-year with the Wolverines where he appeared in seven games, emerging as one of the Big Ten's top running backs. In those seven games, Haynes rushed for 857 yards and 10 touchdowns on 121 attempts, while also leading the Big Ten with an average of 7.1 yards per attempt.

Rated a five-star recruit out of high school, per the 247Sports Composite rankings, Haynes saw action in each of his two seasons at Alabama in 2023-24 as a freshman and sophomore, appearing in 25 total games. While at Alabama, Haynes rushed for 616 yards and nine touchdowns on a combined 104 attempts, while also hauling in 17 receptions for 99 yards.

Haynes will have one season of eligibility remaining at the collegiate level.
