Once again the Pittsburgh Steelers find themselves over .500 and playing a meaningful game at the end of the season with a chance to go to the playoffs. If the Steelers can get past the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football they will win the AFC North and have another opportunity to break their playoff losing streak.

For many Steelers' fans, this team is just treading water, middle of the road and never a serious contender. Eventually, something has to give, and this team is going to have to go for a full rebuild. Former Steelers linebacker James Harrison says that fans need to brace for the rebuild because it is coming.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is set to be a free agent at the end of the season at 42 years old, and probably has his best football behind him. Even if Rodgers returns next season, the team has to start moving forward at the quarterback position and when it comes to a young player, the team could take a step back. He even compared the Steelers to the New England Patriots and how they rebuilt their roster with a couple of down seasons, a new head coach and nwo they are among the top teams in the AFC.
