Steelers fans support Tyler Loop through charity after missed kick

5 days ago 2

Pittsburgh Steelers fans have begun to unite in support of Baltimore Ravens kicker Tyler Loop. who's received disgusting acts of online hate following his missed 44-yard field goal in Week 18.

According to Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Post Gazette's Rob Joesbury, Steelers fan Emily Householder-Stacey saw the online harassment Loop was receiving and decided to do something about it — researching which charity was most associated with Loop, the John S. Mulholland Family Foundation, and then sharing the information with the Steelers subreddit.

Joesbury wrote that around $6,000 has been donated from more than 300 people, with some donations coming in as $26.24, the score of the Steelers-Ravens game in Week 18.

The kind gesture from fans served as a reminder that human decency transcends rivalry and the outcome of any football game, even in moments of anguish and disappointment.

Fans looking to donate to the John S. Mulholland Family Foundation can do so at https://mulhollandcharities.org/donate/, where any amount supports a good cause.
