Steelers’ Aaron Rodgers Storms Out Of Press Conference Following Mike Tomlin Question

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers’ tensions were high following Monday night’s wild-card loss to the Houston Texans at Acrisure Stadium.

Rodgers, who has never been the patient type, stormed out of his postgame press conference after being faced with back-to-back questions about head coach Mike Tomlin.

“I’ve answered that a number of times,” Rodgers said, per team-provided video. “I’ve talked extensively about how I feel about Mike… and I just did in that (expletive) answer.”

Rodgers made the comment in about as good-natured a manner as he possibly could have, cracking a slight smile as he stood up and exited. It’s true that he threw his support behind the veteran head coach, as well, saying that the way the league is covered contributed more to discussions about whether or not he should be fired than his actual coaching acumen.

“It’s an absolute joke for either of those two guys (Tomlin and Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur) to be on the hot seat, it’s really apropos of where we’re at as a society and a league… It’s not how I would do things and not how the league used to be.”

It’s just hard to drop an expletive and have anyone think you meant well by it…
