Michigan State football has set its eyes on an All-American quarterback in the transfer portal.
The Spartans have reportedly extended an offer to FCS All-American and Elon transfer quarterback Landen Clark. He posted about the offer from the Spartans on his social media X account, and is reportedly expected to visit Michigan State as well.

Clark started at quarterback for Elon this past season as a redshirt freshman, appearing in all 12 games for the Phoenix. He is a dual-threat quarterback, throwing for 2,321 yards and 18 touchdowns, and also rushing for 614 yards and 11 touchdowns this year.
Clark is expected to visit Michigan State so there is apparent mutual interest from him and the Spartans. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.
The Michigan State quarterback room is currently one of the most stable positions on the entire roster. Alessio Milivojevic is expected to return and will most likely be the starter entering the season. Behind him Michigan State will most likely add a transfer -- like Clark -- to compete with redshirt freshman Leo Hannan and incoming true freshman 4-star prospect Kayd Coffman.
