Recently fired Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, a Super Bowl winner with nearly two decades of experience, remains intent on coaching in 2026 and is selectively exploring head coaching vacancies.
A recent report by CBS Sports insider Jonathan Jones reveals insights from sources close to the process on Harbaugh's preferences among the eight current openings.
Two sources on interested teams said their belief is Harbaugh's top choices among the vacant jobs are the New York Giants and Atlanta Falcons in some order. Those sources added the Tennessee Titans are in third place, while a third, different source said there is real and mutual interest between Harbaugh and the Cleveland Browns.
The New York Giants have emerged as a frontrunner, with multiple reports indicating an aggressive pursuit. General manager Joe Schoen has been described as "relentless" in his efforts, and the organization is reportedly willing to grant Harbaugh some personnel input.

The Giants are expected to secure an interview, potentially traveling to Baltimore, as Harbaugh plans to meet with only a select few teams this coming week.
