Sean McVay gave out 1 game ball after Rams' win vs. Cardinals: 'Our (expletive) MVP'

Sean McVay wanted to see the Los Angeles Rams bounce back from last week’s loss. They had one last opportunity to do that in the season finale on Sunday, and in a 37-20 win over the Arizona Cardinals, they checked that box and regained some momentum before the postseason.

Afterwards, McVay was in the locker room and gave a passionate speech to his players. He loved the way they responded to being down three points in the third quarter, rattling off three straight touchdown drives to go up 17 points in the fourth quarter.

“What a (expletive) awesome opportunity we’ve got in front of us. Hey, the playoffs start now, (expletive),” he said.

McVay then gave out one game ball, and there was no doubt about who it was going to: Matthew Stafford, “our (expletive) MVP.”

“Guy moved into sixth in completions, seventh in TDs, passed Dan Marino. No (expletive) doubt. Our (expletive) MVP. Let’s go, Matthew Stafford.”

Stafford took the game ball and was serenaded by MVP chants from his teammates. That’s when Kobie Turner stepped in and gave out a game ball of his own.

He recognized McVay and Les Snead for winning their 100th game together, becoming just the 15th coach-GM tandem to win 100 career games.

It's a tight-knit locker room in Los Angeles, one that could very well make a deep playoff run to cap off this special season.
