Real Madrid will clash heads with Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final this Sunday night as they look to secure a win and lift the trophy. Los Blancos managed to secure a hard-fought 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this clash.

Xabi Alonso will set his players up in a 4-4-2 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first XI for this game. Dean Huijsen and Kylian Mbappe could both play from the start of this contest.

4-4-2 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Barcelona

Defence

Thibaut Courtois will function in between the sticks for the Madrid outfit after he conceded one goal in his last appearance. Raul Asencio will be in a race against time to be fit for this game. He could get a chance to operate alongside Dean Huijsen at the centre of the Real Madrid backline as they look to maintain a good shape when defending inside their half.

Alvaro Carreras will get the nod to impress as the left-back, while Federico Valverde continues to play on the other side as the right-back. Both of them will have to perform their defensive duties well before trying to offer some support to the front players.

Antonio Rudiger is a slight concern ahead of this contest, but could be fit to start on the bench.

Midfield

Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni will operate as the holding midfielders as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.

Rodrygo, who is a doubt for this game, will try to catch the eye as the right-sided wide player, while Jude Bellingham hopes to prove his value on the left flank. Both of them will have to carry most of the creative burden for the Madrid club out in the wide areas.

Arda Guler and Dani Ceballos will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe will lead the line for Real Madrid up top. Both of them need to combine well if they are to create some problems for the Barcelona centre-backs this weekend.

Gonzalo Garcia will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the final quarter of the contest if needed.
