The Tennessee Titans' 2025 regular season ended with a resounding thud as the Jacksonville Jaguars rolled through their injury-depleted roster in the Week 18 season finale.
Tennessee will now quickly shift focus to the offseason. While Cam Ward’s recovery will be something to keep an eye on, the most pressing issue for general manager Mike Borgonzi will be finding the next head coach.

Many fans have been thinking about this moment since Brian Callahan was fired in October and have put together their own shortlist for the opening. Most of the names listed are the same ones mentioned by NFL insiders as the season wore on. Names like Matt Nagy, Mike McCarthy, Chris Shula, and Robert Salah have all shown up on lists and social media posts.
That changed on Sunday when NFL insider Adam Schefter mentioned Kevin Stefanski as a possibility if he is let go from his current position.
In the report, Schefter claims that those around the NFL believe the Cleveland Browns will part ways with the two-time NFL Coach of the Year, and that he will "automatically" be in the mix in Nashville and New York with the Giants. Schefter wasn’t the only one reporting this. Fox Sports insider Jay Glazer echoed this sentiment on Stefanski during the pregame show.

Stefanski and the Browns have struggled since the disastrous trade for quarterback Deshaun Watson, and had another losing season (5-12) in 2025. This dropped his career record below .500 with the Browns (45-56) over six seasons, with two playoff appearances.
Stefanski has been in the NFL since 2006, when he was hired as an offensive assistant with the Minnesota Vikings. After that start, he worked his way up the ladder with the Vikings, from offensive assistant to offensive coordinator in 2019, before taking over the Browns.
At this point, it’s all speculation, as neither Stefanski nor the Browns have released a statement on his future, but it’s something to monitor as Tennessee’s coaching search kicks into high gear.
