Before the Oklahoma City Thunder went on to destroy the Cleveland Cavaliers in a 136-104 win, they provided an injury update on Jalen Williams as he deals with a right hamstring strain.
The Thunder will be without Williams for at least a couple of weeks, per The Oklahoman's Justin Martinez. They will check how he's progressing from there.

Williams sustained the hamstring strain in OKC's 122-120 loss to the Miami Heat this past Saturday. Acknowledging the caveat that it sounds like the Thunder ballpark'd his re-evaluation, two weeks from today is Feb. 2. That means he's set to miss at least seven games.
In case you were wondering, the Thunder will play their last game before the All-Star break on Thursday, Feb. 12, against the Milwaukee Bucks. They return on Friday, Feb. 20, against the Brooklyn Nets. The latter matchup would put him at over a month of recovery time.
Williams' injury luck continues to worsen. It's an even bigger bummer considering he strung together his best scoring games before he sustained the injury. He's averaged 16.8 points, 5.6 assists and 4.8 rebounds this season.
It continues to be an injury-plagued season for Williams. He missed OKC's first 19 games as he recovered from two wrist surgeries. The Thunder went 18-1 in that stretch. Let's see how much time he misses with this latest setback, but it sounds closer to week-to-week than anything long-term.
