The 2026 NBA All-Star Game is less than a month away, and it will feature a new "USA vs. World" format this year in an attempt to increase interest and viewership. There will be one team made up of foreign players and two comprised of American-born players, and all three squads will compete in a round-robin tournament.

On Monday, the starters in the All-Star game from both the Eastern Conference and Western Conference were announced. Luka Doncic of the Los Angeles Lakers will be one of the starters from the West, along with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Stephen Curry, Nikola Jokić and Victor Wembanyama.

The starters from the East will be Jalen Brunson, Tyrese Maxey, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Cade Cunningham and Jaylen Brown.

Doncic is currently leading the NBA in scoring average, and overall, he's putting up 33.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 8.6 assists and 1.5 steals a game. His shooting efficiency has been somewhat up and down, and while he's shooting a subpar 33.7% from 3-point range, he's at a decent 46.4% overall from the field.

In previous voting returns for the All-Star game, LeBron James and Austin Reaves ranked fairly highly. The reserves for the midseason classic will be announced on Feb. 1, and obviously, Lakers fans are hoping that both men, particularly Reaves, who is having a breakout season, will make the cut.

This year's All-Star game will take place on Feb. 15 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif.
