Ravens to interview Broncos DC Vance Joseph for vacant head coaching job

4 days ago 1

For the first time in 18 years, the Baltimore Ravens are searching for a new head coach. John Harbaugh was fired after nearly two decades, with 193 total wins, tying Chuck Knox for the 12th-most by an HC in NFL history. Harbaugh has led Baltimore to 12 playoff berths in the past 18 seasons and to six postseason appearances in the last eight years.

There's been no discussion about who'll lead the search, but Eric DeCosta is the Executive VP and GM, and he'll have the ear of owner Steve Bisciotti, who purchased the team in 2004 and has as much a hand as any other owner, with the acting head coach reporting directly to him. Team President Sashi Brown is entering his fifth year in the position.

The team has requested interviews with Klint Kubiak and Anthony Weaver, and will interview Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph this morning and Broncos quarterback coach Davis Webb this afternoon for their head coach vacancy.

Joseph just completed his fifth season with the Denver Broncos and third as defensive coordinator in 2025 after being hired by the club on Feb. 25, 2023. This marks his second stint with the Broncos, previously serving as the team's head coach for two seasons from 2017-18.

Joseph's defense in Denver has been ranked among the league's best, and the Broncos were a league leader in sacks in 2025.
