For nearly two centuries John Harbaugh and the Ravens have been synonymous with each other. In his 18 years in Baltimore, he only had fewer than eight wins one time. But with his Super Bowl win now a distant memory, he and the team have finally parted ways. And the legendary, likely Hall of Fame coach becomes a hot name on the market.
And the Raiders have an opening. Which means they could do the funniest thing.

John's brother Jim is the head coach for the Chargers. If John were to be hired by the Raiders, he and his brother would go from a sibling rivalry to division rivalry.
As it happens, it was that one Super Bowl win in 2012 where John faced off against his brother Jim for sibling bragging rights. John would come out victorious, setting himself up for his long career. Meanwhile Jim would end up back in the college ranks two years later and eventually win a National Championship with the Michigan Wolverines and ride that to a return to the NFL as head coach with the Chargers.
Not only would John and Jim be division rivals, but they would be a few hundred miles away from each other, as opposed to a few thousand. That sounds like a pretty good situation for everyone.
