The Houston Texans' chances of hosting a playoff game in the divsional round remain alive entering Sunday night.
Following the Buffalo Bills' 27-24 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, the No. 3 seed's elimination creates an opportunity for a potential home playoff game next week. Should the Los Angeles Chargers secure a victory over the No. 2 seed New England Patriots, Houston would host Buffalo at NRG Stadium with a victory Monday night over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

If New England wins, the Texans will be on the road to take on the Patriots next week as the No. 5 seed. Meanwhile, No. 6 Buffalo would go to top-seeded Denver, thus potentially setting up a third straight road game for the Texans.
Before anything, the Texans must defeat the Steelers on Monday Night Football, thus moving their winning streak to 10 games. Houston should feel confident since it's 5-3 on the road this season, with its lone losses coming to No. 5 seed Los Angeles, No. 1 seed Seattle and the Jaguars in Week 3.
Kickoff on ESPN is scheduled for 7 p.m.
