With reports of multiple Iowa State players visiting, the first of the group has committed to Penn State. Tight end Benjamin Brahmer committed to the Nittany Lions, filling a massive hole in the tight end room.
Brahmer is a big-body tight end, standing at 6-foot-7, 255 pounds. He will join the Nittany Lions for his senior season.

The former Cyclone was a Freshman All-American in 2023, where he totaled 352 receiving yards on 28 receptions. In his career, Brahmer has caught 75 passes for 977 yards and nine touchdowns, and could be a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses.
He joins Penn State, following all of his offensive coaches to Happy Valley, the most important being now-offensive coordinator and tight end coach Taylor Mouser.
Mouser brings in his top receiving threat at the position to fill a massive gap in the Penn State room. Brahmer joins just Andrew Rappleyea and Brian Kortovich in the room, with him and Rappleyea likely seeing a significant amount of playing time.

Brahmer was a four-star transfer, ranked as the No. 30 player and No. 2 tight end, according to 247Sports. He's the first of an expected group of Cyclones to follow their coaching staff to Happy Valley.
