The Los Angeles Dodgers have won back-to-back World Series titles.

They could keep it rolling if they land Kyle Tucker in free agency.
The Dodgers haven't been thought of as the favorite to get Tucker, but they are apparently in the running.
Former MLB GM Jim Duquette is now a media member, and he provided multiple new insights into Tucker's free agency in a post on X on Sunday night.
First, Duquette wrote that three teams are still in the picture: the Dodgers, Blue Jays and Mets.
"(They) have all met with the player, either in person or over Zoom, as part of the recruiting process for a star player," Duquette added.

Duquette then finished with this speculation: "Will be interesting to see if any of the 3 teams increase their offers soon to separate themselves from the other."
The Dodgers weren't initially thought to be that in on Tucker, because reports indicated they don't want to go as long on a deal as some of the other teams.
But with Tucker's free agency lagging on, maybe no one wants to go to 8-10 years on a contract.
And if no one wants to go that deep, the Dodgers can get back in the running. They would likely pay a high per-year rate to Tucker to get him for a few seasons.
The fact that Dodgers are still in the running at all is scary news for the rest of baseball, because L.A. adding Tucker would be incredibly potent.
