The New England Patriots kick-started the new year with a holiday practice on Thursday.
Veteran defensive tackle Christian Barmore was back on the field after being away due to an illness on Wednesday. He has still not been made available to the media amid his ongoing legal drama, but he was a limited participant in practice.

Perhaps the biggest news coming out of practice was the fact that wide receiver Kayshon Boutte was a full participant after spending the previous week in concussion protocol. That's a good sign regarding him suiting up and playing against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
Offensive tackle Will Campbell was a full participant for a second straight practice, while defensive tackle Milton Williams is still limited with an ankle injury. On the Dolphins' side, De'Von Achane, Jordyn Brooks, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Darren Waller were all out.
