Patriots QB Drake Maye receives massive ratings boost in Madden NFL 26

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye saw his overall ratings rise significantly in a recent Madden NFL 26 update.

The quarterback had a 78 overall rating when the game first came out last August. However, after an MVP-caliber season, he is now rated among the top quarterbacks in the entire video game with a 94 overall rating. This obviously correlates well with his real-life on-field play this season.

The North Carolina star has 4,203 passing yards, 30 touchdowns and eight interceptions on the season. His 76.5 quarterback rating is first in the NFL. He has taken the second-year leap that many thought he would and has become a key cornerstone for the Patriots' one-year turnaround.

Maye's incredible leap isn't something that happened overnight.

There were flashes last year of his potential to develop into an elite quarterback at the next level. That incredible potential has turned into reality for Maye and the Patriots in only his second NFL season.

And he's only going to get better.
