Ford was drafted by the Packers in the seventh round in 2022, appearing on the active roster and practice squad from 2022-24 but didn’t play in a game. He played in 12 games over two seasons for the Bears. He recorded nine total tackles (three solo) and a tackle for loss in 2024 and four total tackles this year. He’ll wear No. 64 for the Packers.

The Packers also signed running back Damien Martinez to the practice squad. Martinez (6-foot-0, 217 pounds) is a rookie from the University of Miami who was a seventh-round draft pick by the Seattle Seahawks. He spent all season on the Seahawks’ practice squad.

Kamal Hadden (ankle) and Jordon Riley (Achilles) were placed on injured reserve after they both suffered season-ending injuries in the team’s Dec. 27 game against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Packers also released defensive tackle Quinton Bohanna, who was claimed off waivers from the Seahawks’ practice squad Dec. 6. He appeared in one game – against the Ravens – and registered two tackles (one solo).
