The zany universe that is the college football transfer portal continues to provide swift player movement at breakneck speed, and the latest comes in the form of former Ohio State cornerback Bryce West.
West entered the portal just five days ago and has already confirmed reporting that he has found a new home with in the Big Ten, and with a former Buckeye nonetheless. West will be joining former Ohio State player and defensive coordinator Luke Fickell at Wisconsin.

Out of the OSU recruiting pipeline, Cleveland Glenville High School, West committed to the Buckeyes in the 2024 class as a four-star prospect. He did get some run and play as a backup as a nickelback, but the coaches seemed to find favor with moving Jermaine Matthews into the nickel No. 2 spot when injuries occurred, and West never really carved out the playing time many thought -- likely including himself. He totaled just 11 tackles and 90 plays for his two-years in Columbus and now will be embracing the Jump Around mantra going forward in Madison.
