The 26-year-old was in the books of Ivorian champions Stade d'Abidjan last season, having joined after a two-and-a-half-year spell with ASEC Mimosas.
Notably, Diomande featured in the 3-0 defeat to Orlando Pirates in the group stages of the CAF Champions League last season.
He brings a wealth of experience to the Babina Noko frontline, having previously plied his trade in the Armenian topflight with Shirak Gyumuri during the 2020/21 campaign.
Meanwhile, this is Sekhukhune's second signing of the January transfer window, as they also secured the services of Lehlohonolo Mojela from Stellenbosch FC.

On the other hand, the club parted ways with experienced campaigner Miguel Timm, who has since found a new home at Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit Cape Town City.
Eric Tinkler's men are pushing for a CAF Inter-club spot as they currently sit third with 25 points on the table and trail log leaders Orlando Pirates by three points, having played one game more.
