New York Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart is making all kinds of impressions in his first year in the NFL. He has been especially engaging during his appearances on HBO's Hard Knocks.
Dart has commented on just about everything from the North Jersey winds to the prowess of the team's current placekicker, Ben Sauls.

In a clip from the recent episode of Hard Knocks, Dart appears to be in awe of Sauls as he boots field goals at practice last week. The Giants' kicking game has been so bad this year; just having a kicker who can convert point-after attempts is a luxury now.
The Giants broke their nine-game losing streak against the Raiders in Las Vegas last week, and Sauls made both field goal attempts and both extra points.
Dart has one more game this season to display his wares to the football world. Going forward, however, he believes the Giants will be an improved bunch very soon.
"We've got the pieces," Dart said this week. "This is not an excuse, but obviously, we've had a tough schedule, and we've been in really tight games where this season could completely flip. So that's kind of just the league. It's those one-score games and who can capitalize on those moments, and there are a lot of teams who have great records right now where it could be completely flipped for them as well.

"So, we've got a lot of talent. We have some good vets, and we have a ton of young guys who are going to continue to thrive. I’ve said this a lot, we just have a ton of excitement for the future because we know what this thing can do and how we can flip this around."
It remains to be seen if Sauls is in the long-term plans.
