In a behind-the-scenes moment from the latest episode of HBO's Hard Knocks, New York Giants rookie running back Cam Skattebo thanked his offensive line during a team meeting ahead of their holiday break.

Surrounded by teammates at tables about to be laden with gifts, Skattebo stood up and said, "I appreciate you guys for accepting me for who I am as a crazy motherf----r."

He then presented each lineman with a 3-liter bottle of 2021 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, elegantly packaged in wooden boxes. Each double-magnum bottle retails for $550 -- a premium California red aged 24 months in American oak.

The extravagant gesture highlights Skattebo's gratitude toward the players who protect him every snap. Signed to a four-year, $5.273 million rookie contract, the former Arizona State star has made an impact before suffering a season-ending leg injury in Week 8.

Skattebo was also disciplined by the NFL multiple times this season, including two fines totaling $21,157 -- one a $15,000 penalty for violating concussion protocol.

Skattebo's generous holiday surprise underscores the tight-knit bonds forming in the Giants' locker room as their disappointing season winds down.
