Nebraska football is set to host UCF defensive tackle transfer Horace Lockett. Notre Dame, Ohio State, South Carolina, and Ole Miss will also get a visit. This was reported earlier in the week by CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz.
Lockett recorded 13 tackles, three tackles for loss, and a sack before suffering a season-ending injury. He transferred to UCF from Georgia Tech following the 2024 season. The prospect measures in at six-foot-six, 355 pounds.

He could be a valuable piece for Nebraska’s defensive interior. The program struggled at times last season, especially with stopping the run. The run defense ranked 11th in the Big Ten with 171.3 rushing yards allowed per game. They allowed 2,055 rushing yards over 12 games.
Lockett would help solidify the interior and add size to the defensive tackle position. The visit list is certainly stacked with talented teams, and the program will have to assert itself.
